TM Carruthers is an epic fantasy author who grew up on the likes of Name of the Wind, Malazan and, of course, A Song of Ice and Fire. Having been scarred by two thirds of those authors never finishing their series, Troy set off to write his own fantasy, beginning with the already written Empire of the Beast Trilogy.
For Troy, nothing beats complex characters and rich worldbuilding. He loves a villain, despite not being one (honest).
And when has a giant battle with world shattering stakes ever harmed anyone? Never, exactly.
Troy currently lives in the South West of England, but grew up in Merseyside. He loves football, adventuring through nature, and his family.
