Description
Harald Fairhair has taken the Golden City.
Given command of an army by the Emperor Tytos, he has one singular mission.
Unify the continent of Gora.
He is strengthened by his allies: Frisia the gladiator, exiled Prince Edward and blind priest Father Andrew. But there are far more who are set against him, believing him to be the Beast’s Chosen One, his arrival bringing about the end of days. And there are still others who see in Harald an opportunity for a better world, and in the Beast’s release perhaps a chance for true freedom.
But all this happened then, not now.
Harald Fairhair is fair no more. He is scarred and broken. He is huddled on the cell floor.
He tells his story in suprisingly eloquent words for a man with such a history of violence on his face.
Hero or villain? Man or monster?
In the end of days, does it even matter?
